Joseph E. Donlan, Ph.D., while outwardly a successful business man, is, at heart, a quintessential philosopher who has spent the last thirty-five years investigating the worlds of Western Physics and Eastern Metaphysics and tackling the mysteries of life. Dr. Donlan earned his BS and MS in Physics at Northeastern University and then, switching direction, undertook graduate studies in Software Engineering with an elective emphasis in Artificial Intelligence (“A.I.”) at Boston University and classes held at MIT. After completing graduate studies in 1983 he continued his research into A.I. at a high level of interest at MIT, and became increasingly incredulous concerning the direction in which A. I. research was headed. His skepticism led him to intensify his investigation of the inner workings of the human brain and limbic system to more fundamentally understand the entity the A.I. pundits were trying to emulate. This quest led him to pursue humanity studies in Philosophy, (MA), and Metaphysics (Ph.D.) and began a chain of events which led to his first book, Ordaining Reality, The Science Behind the Power of Positive Thoughts.

In addition to the fields of Physics, A. I. and Neuroscience, Dr. Donlan has researched a very broad range of disciplines including: psychology, religion, microbiology, Eastern philosophies, as well as investigations within the extensive arena of the Para-normal. Dr. Donlan has developed two additional books on these subjects; each targeting a different audience.  His newest book on this topic will be available in the Fall of 2018.
